The school enjoys strong support from the local community.  The active PTA, Memorial Hall Committee, Flower and Vegetable Show Committee and, not least, the Church itself.  All of these involve themselves with the school throughout the year, in their festivals and celebrations, fund raising and social activities.


PTA (Parent Teacher Association)

We are very lucky to have an active PTA.  All parents of children at the school are automatically members.  The aims of the association are: to develop links between parents and the school; parents and parents; and to raise money for new school equipment, school activities or refurbishment.

The PTA run social events as well as fundraising.  You will be kept informed of these through regular letters.  New faces and ideas are always welcomed and we hope that parents will continue to support the PTA activities in whatever way they can.
Recent events/purchases funded by the PTA:

-purchase of ipads
-purchase of kitchen equipment for children to use
-subsidising a whole school trip to the pantomime
-funding a whole day science (CSI) event in school
-funding playground markings for the lower playground

The PTA raise an enormous amount of money through their energetic fundraising activities. Please do your bit by offering to help - all the children benefit!
